The automated warehouse extends over an area of 2,200 sq.m, is 25 metres high (including
5 metres that lie below the road surface), and has a storage capacity of 7,000 pallets.
Entrance and exit of goods are managed directly by the Central System in complete independence. Operators are informed of the different processes underway through radio frequency terminals. |
The warehousing carrier n. 1 carries out the loading work: it goes to the pallet, loads it and deposits it on the exit bay. A shuttle carrier then transfers it outside the warehouse where an operator, according to the information received from the central computer, will take it to the piking area. |

The warehousing carrier n. 2 carries out the unloading work:
it loads the pallet that the shuttle carrier has brought, and accroding to the information from the computer concerned, will deposit
